Dip with me into the lakes,
immersed in murky water, which covers
how far we
have yet to go.
Or slip with me into the ocean—
dried by salt and chilled by breeze,
skin sizzling, lost to
the forest trees’ cradle.
Dip with me into the lakes,
immersed in murky water, which covers
how far we
have yet to go.
Or slip with me into the ocean—
dried by salt and chilled by breeze,
skin sizzling, lost to
the forest trees’ cradle.
Take me to the river…
