Maybe I should do the response that involves breathing,
believing that I or a power greater than me
can take care of whether or not I survive,
with this sense that there could be nothing worse
than trapping you inside of my body,
when my autonomy says to fight,
to laugh, to cry, or to flight,
but you say you wish to subjugate me, and I’d suddenly rather die.
